June 10 10:43 PM PT11:43 PM MT12:43 AM CT1:43 AM ET1:43 ET5:43 GMT13:43 10:43 PM MST12:43 AM EST1:13 AM VEN9:43 UAE12:43 AM CT-Michael Wacha improved to 3-3, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks in 6.0 innings, as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 on Friday. Analysis: A matchup with the light-hitting Phillies was just what the doctor ordered for Wacha, who picked up his first win since April 19 and recorded a brutal 11.91 ERA over his previous three starts. The right-hander likely gets a more challenging spot when he next takes the mound Wednesday against Milwaukee, which reached him for four runs across six innings back on May 1.

Wacha struck out four, ending the game with a 3.99 ERA and 1.33 WHIP on the season.

He blew a 3-0 lead in both, lasting only a combined seven innings. He threw 77 pitches Tuesday in what was the shortest outing for a St. Louis starter this year, having run up seven three-ball counts.

Wacha struck out five, ending the game with a 2.74 ERA and 1.15 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Wacha was pitching on 11 days' rest, having had his last start skipped. He's pitched at least six innings in all seven of his starts and has allowed no more than two runs in five of them.
May 7 3:05 PM PT4:05 PM MT5:05 PM CT6:05 PM ET18:05 ET22:05 GMT6:05 3:05 PM MST5:05 PM EST5:35 PM VEN2:05 UAE (+1)5:05 PM CT-Michael Wacha allowed two runs on five hits and two walks in 6.0 innings as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Atlanta Braves 6-4 on Sunday. Analysis: Wacha is off to a nice start with a 2.55 ERA, about half what it was during his disappointing 2016 campaign. He's pitched at least six innings in all four of his starts thus far.
Apr. 19 5:56 PM PT6:56 PM MT7:56 PM CT8:56 PM ET20:56 ET0:56 GMT8:56 5:56 PM MST7:56 PM EST8:26 PM VEN4:56 UAE (+1)7:56 PM CT-Wacha allowed a solo homer and three other hits in 6 2/3 innings of a 2-1 win over the Pirates on Wednesday.

Apr. 15 8:37 AM PT9:37 AM MT10:37 AM CT11:37 AM ET11:37 ET15:37 GMT23:37 8:37 AM MST10:37 AM EST11:07 AM VEN19:37 UAE10:37 AM CT-Wacha racked up eight strikeouts in six innings Friday at Yankee Stadium, though he served up a pair of homers and was reached for four runs (three earned) and nine hits to take the loss against New York.
Analysis: Wacha wasn't able to build off an excellent season debut, when he held the Reds to one run and three hits through six innings in a winning effort last Saturday. The good news is he's healthy after shoulder issues limited him to seven wins and contributed to his career-worst 5.09 ERA in 2016.
Apr. 8 4:13 PM PT5:13 PM MT6:13 PM CT7:13 PM ET19:13 ET23:13 GMT7:13 4:13 PM MST6:13 PM EST6:43 PM VEN3:13 UAE (+1)6:13 PM CT-Wacha allowed one run over six innings and the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds 10-4 on Saturday to spoil Bronson Arroyo's return to the majors.
Analysis: Wacha (1-0) allowed three hits with six strikeouts against just one walk in his first start of the season. Wacha struggled a year ago, going 7-7 with a 5.09 ERA in 138 innings over 27 games (24 starts), but earned a spot in the rotation with a strong spring, posting a 2.42 ERA in 26 innings over seven starts.
Mar. 8 3:52 PM PT4:52 PM MT5:52 PM CT6:52 PM ET18:52 ET23:52 GMT7:52 4:52 PM MST6:52 PM EST7:22 PM VEN3:52 UAE (+1)5:52 PM CT-Wacha allowed two hits in three scoreless innings during the St. Louis Cardinals' 9-3 win over Washington on Wednesday.
Analysis: An All-Star in 2015 when he went 17-7, a stress reaction in his right scapula limited Wacha in 2014 and last year. But Wacha has not allowed a run in six innings over three spring training outings so far.
